AJGA welcomes Imperial Headwear as Official Partner

Company with more than 100 years experience expands within golf industry

 

BRASELTON, Ga. – The American Junior Golf Association is excited to announce a five-year partnership with Imperial Headwear beginning in 2019. Imperial will be the Official Headwear of the AJGA and promoted at more than 200 events per year.

Imperial Headwear is one of the oldest brands in golf. Founded in 1916, Imperial has been designing and manufacturing premium headwear for more than 100 years. Shaffer credits the AJGA in helping him earn a scholarship to play Division I golf at Northwestern University, where he was a 4-Time Academic All-Big Ten. The Wildcats finished inside the Top-10 three times at the NCAA Championship and won three Big Ten Championships while he was on the team.

Imperial Headwear will also assume the Title Sponsorship of an AJGA event each year. In 2019, the Imperial Headwear Junior Classic will be held August 5-8 at DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, Delaware. In addition, Imperial and the AJGA will release a year-round social and digital media platform featuring a variety of the best elements and benefits of AJGA experiences through “the finer things in AJGA life.”

A portion of the proceeds from the AJGA Collection will be donated back to the ACE Grant, which provides financial assistance to young men and women who aspire to earn a college golf scholarship through competitive junior golf.
